This Friday, join SMO for our third virtual concert featuring the world premiere of Greg Dixon's Mirror Lake II for clarinet and electronics, performed by clarinetist Rachel Yoder. The broadcast will also include SMO's US premiere performance of Huck Hodge's work Alêtheia, and excerpts from Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time performed by Mikhail Shmidt, Rose Bellini, Angelique Poteat, and Cristina Valdés. The performance will be broadcast on our Facebook and YouTube channels.
The livestream will take place at 7:30pm (Pacific) / 10:30pm (Eastern).
