Cristian Budu is the winner of the Clara Haskil International Piano Competition, one of the most important and prestigious competitions in the world, on its 50th anniversary in 2013. “A stunningly original pianist with musical insight and maturity that could inspire envy in colleagues twice his age” (Gramophone) the young Brazilian with Romanian parents, pianist Cristian Budu set a new standard in the classical music world with his unique artistry and outstanding achievements.
