Joseph Adam, organ

Louis Vierne – 24 Pièces de fantaisie, Suite No. 1, Op. 51

The French composer Louis Vierne, organist of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris from 1900 until his death in 1937, left us an invaluable legacy in his compositions for the organ. We continue our observance of the 150th anniversary of Vierne's birth with a survey of his music written for the King of Instruments. Each program is livestreamed at 7:00pm Pacific and is approximately 40 minutes in length.

On October 21, Joseph Adam will play the first book of Vierne's Fantasy Pieces.

We invite you to join the livestream at the St. James Cathedral, Seattle Facebook page, or at the Cathedral’s Vimeo page. If you are unable to watch live, the video will be archived for future viewing.

The livestream will take place at 7pm Pacific / 10pm Eastern. Broadcasting live from St. James Cathedral, Seattle, WA.
