Portland Baroque Orchestra brings you their annual production of G.F. Handel’s Messiah in a handy pandemic-friendly, pocket-sized edition! Performing arias and highlights, Northwest-based soloists – soprano Arwen Myers, alto Hannah Penn, tenor Zach Finkelstein, and bass-baritone Daniel Mobbs – are joined by an organist and a string quartet in this holiday favorite. For more than 25 years PBO has presented Messiah annually and is proud to be able to continue the tradition in a way that puts the health and safety of our audiences, musicians, and staff first.
The broadcast will take place at 3pm Pacific.
