Carolina Heredia – Il n’y aura pas de regrets
Ingrid Stölzel – Livid Loneliness of Fear

In celebration of the 2020 centennial of the passage of the 19th Amendment, the American Wild Ensemble created a commission and performance program inspired by pioneering women aviators Bessie Coleman and Amelia Earhart. Two new works by Ingrid Stölzel (Earhart) and Carolina Heredia (Coleman) were supported by a 2019 Artistic Innovations Grant from the Mid-America Arts Alliance and slated for performance in Missouri and Kansas in April 2020.

Thank you to University of Missouri and the Mizzou New Music Initiative for hosting us for this recording project.

The broadcast will take place at 7pm Central / 5pm Pacific.
