Early Music Seattle: Handel's Messiah

Early Music Seattle is pleased to announce that we will be broadcasting Handel’s Messiah from our 2018-19 season with the Seattle Baroque Orchestra and the Byrd Ensemble on Saturday, December 19 at 7pm Pacific. This concert was originally performed in Saint Mark’s Cathedral in March, 2019. We hope you will join us again, or perhaps for the first time, to celebrate the holiday season. Donations collected at this performance will benefit both EMS and the Byrd Ensemble.
The broadcast will take place at 7pm Pacific.
On December 16 at 7pm Pacific, tune in for a Creative Conversation interview hosted by EMS Development Director Betsy Brick, with SBO Music Director, Alexander Weimann, and Artistic Director of the Byrd Ensemble, Markdavin Obenza. Hear how this EMS/SBO collaboration between Alex and Mark became a reality and how this Messiah is like no other.
