Daniil Trifonov, piano

Claude Debussy – Pour le piano ("For the piano"), L. 95
Sergei Prokofiev – Sarcasms, Op. 17
Johannes Brahms – Piano Sonata No. 3 in F minor, Op. 5

The pianist The New York Times called “incandescent” and The Times (London) heralded as “without question the most astounding pianist of our age,” Grammy Award-winning Daniil Trifonov returned to our stage in early January, delivering a stunning solo concert that receives its premiere streaming in April.

Trifonov displays his extraordinary virtuosity and touch in a trio of works that reveal distinct aspects of his artistry, in luminous Debussy, biting, percussive Prokoviev, and a breathtaking performance of Brahms’ F minor Sonata, written when the composer was just 20 years old, but full of visionary daring and beauty.

The broadcast will begin at 4:30pm Pacific / 7:30pm Eastern.

The concert stream will be available to ticket buyers for one full week from the time of broadcast. View it live, or at your convenience!
