Joglaresa: Boogie Knights (on-demand until 7/12/2021)

A film of specially-recorded songs for Leeds International Medieval Congress. A plague party where the knights are villainous, the dancers seductive, all lightly under-pinned by musings on our mortality.

Including songs from the Cantigas de Santa Maria (to commemorate 800 years of Alfonso el Sabio's birth), as well as dance songs from the Llibre Vermell de Montserrat and Galician troubadour Airas Nunes. Plus some songs especially for the IMC themes of Climate and the Crusades.
