The music of three remarkable women is juxtaposed with the music of Brahms. Even when compared to the great Johannes, these three works more than hold their own, revealing what the world has missed by neglecting them.

About the festival: Celebrate the 27th season of Music in the Vineyards, the nationally-acclaimed chamber music festival held each summer in the Napa Valley. The festival showcases world-class artists-in-residence performing new and classic chamber music repertoire in stunning winery settings with breathtaking views of the valley. This unique combination of wine country ambiance and world class talent allows artists and audiences alike to experience chamber music in an intimate setting as it was intended to be performed. Each concert, set amidst a winery, barrel room, or wine cave venue, is hosted by Artistic Director Michael Adams whose irreverent introductions and program notes are a popular feature of the festival.
