Join Seattle Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra, Music Director Geoffrey Larson, and cellist Nathan Chan ("Awe-inspiring" – The New York Times; a "preternatural engagement with music" – Vancouver Sun) for an evening of live music, refreshments, and visual art at Pioneer Square's historic 1890 Globe Building. The evening features an eclectic variety of music of heart-pounding rhythm, including Dmitri Shostakovich's Cello Concerto No. 1, Siamak Aghaei and Colin Jacobsen’s Ascending Bird, and an orchestral re-imagining of Sufjan Stevens’ Enjoy Your Rabbit.
All tickets include a hosted beverage, light hors d’oeuvres, and access to a gallery of visual art on site courtesy of Pioneer Square Art Walk.
Doors open at 6pm. The performance will take place at 7pm; event concludes at 9pm.
