The Greek word Kromatikos literally means “relating to color” but transformed into a musical term describing the usage of “colorful” notes found outside a key – perhaps nowhere more effectively than in J.S. Bach’s Chromatic Fantasia and Fugue. This masterwork, featured on Jillon Stoppels Dupree’s newest album, is inspiration for this concert all about “coloring outside the lines” in music by Andrea Falconieri, G.B. Fontana, Isabella Leonarda, Francesca Caccini, Markus Zahnhausen, and J.S. Bach.

The concert will begin at 3pm.

Tickets: $35 ($30 senior age 65+, $15 young adult ages 17-25)
