Byron Schenkman & Friends presents the West Coast debut of Gut Reaction in collaboration with baroque violin virtuoso Ingrid Matthews. Praised for its "wonderful mix of passion and style" (Boston Musical Intelligencer), Gut Reaction combines the talents of four of Boston's top young baroque string players with Seattle's own award-winning harpsichordist Byron Schenkman. This program features music from the two generations before Bach: Biber, Marini, Rosenmueller, Schmelzer and Weichlein.
