In this poignant program of timeless medieval poetry set by modern composers, The Esoterics will perform Ned Rorem’s haunting cantata In time of pestilence, Alfred Schnittke’s devastatingly mystical Verses of repentance, and the lament and triumph of John Joubert’s Pro pace motets.
Tickets: General admission is $25 at the door, or $22 when pre-ordered online. Student, senior, un(der)employed and differently-abled tickets are available at $18 at the door, or $15 in advance.
