Concert Imaginaire: Another Day in Suck City

CONCERT IMAGINAIRE, the award-winning music ensemble directed by David Hahn, is delighted to announce the only Seattle performance of their national tour!
The program, entitled Another Day in Suck City, will include settings of Emily Dickinson and Edgar Allan Poe, a dance for an orangutan, the lament of SHE–the cyber-ant goddess, an exploration of God as a virus, and the premiere of JUST A KISS AWAY, a very short opera – 5 minutes – about war and love and peace based on Aristophanes’ Lysistrata.
Along with the instrumentation of violin, guitar, keyboards, percussion and bass, featured singers will include the lovely and talented Katie Weld, the handsome and powerful Sid Law, and our savior, Gabriel Tachell. There will be some amazing video accompaniment created by Leo Mayberry.
