Metropolitan Opera National Council Northwest: Regional Auditions

The Metropolitan Opera National Council Northwest Region presents the 62nd Regional Finals.

13 finalists from the Idaho, Oregon, Vancouver BC and Washington Districts will compete to win cash prizes, with the grand prize winner going on to New York for the National Semi Finals, Sunday March 12th on the Metropolitan Opera stage. If they are chosen as one of the finalists, they receive – along with a cash prize – coaching with the Metropolitan Opera Musical staff, and sing in the National Finals with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra on Sunday March 13th to a sold-out audience.

Our Regional Finals judges this year are: Samuel Ramey, Metropolitan Opera Bass; Elizabeth Hynes Renowned Soprano and Master Teacher; and Gayletha Nichols, Executive Director, Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.

Michaela Martens, Metropolitan Opera Soprano and 1992 MONC NW Regional winner will be our guest artist. Dick Foley will host the Finals.

This event is presented by the Metropolitan Opera National Council.

All seating is general admission.
