Cornish Artist Diploma Baroque Ensemble features four students in the Artist's Diploma program together with faculty members Byron Schenkman and Nathan Whittaker in a cornucopia of early delights from the 17th and 18th centuries, with a sprinkling of music composed especially for Advent and Christmas. This program of vocal and instrumental chamber music includes an Advent cantata by Telemann, an Abel trio-sonata, French and Italian motets, and a setting of Milton's Hymn of Adam and Eve (from Paradise Lost) by Johann Ernst Galliard, a colleague of Handel in London.

This concert is co-sponsored by the Early Music Guild of Seattle, and presented as a part of their Northwest Showcase series.
