The Medieval Women’s Choir rings in a new era with Natus est Rex! at St. James Cathedral. This opening concert of the 2015-16 season features the choir’s first performance with Interim Artistic Director Eric Mentzel.
Celebrate the holiday season with solemn hymns, irresistible dances, luscious motets, and songs of praise for St. Nicholas, the Virgin Mary, the New Year, and of course, Christmas.
Featuring sopranos Molly Seibert and Linda Strandberg, vielle player Shulamit Kleinerman, harpist Bill McJohn, and percussionist Peggy Monroe, our European holiday tour draws on music from Italy, Aquitaine, and France.
