Byron Au Yong: Water Partitas

Seattle avant-garde classical composer Byron Au Yong's Water Partitas for string instruments will be performed in an art installation by Matthew Offenbacher.

"Thinking of water in three basic states: liquid, solid and vapor," Au Yong says, "I found 54 ways water appears and disappears. These form musical gestures which inform each page/part."
