Canzonetta, a 12-voice ensemble led by artistic director Roger Nelson (Cornish College of the Arts), presents a concert focused on progression of the French chanson from the Renaissance through the 20th century. Prepared and conducted by special guest Joan Catoni Conlon (professor-emeritus of the Univeristy of Colorado, Boulder and University of Washington), the music includes music by de Sermisy, Passareau, Ravel, Claude Debussy, Darius Milhaud (excerpts from Les Choéphores), and many more. The concert also features Sabine Endrigkeit (recorder), Bill McJohn (harp), Peggy Monroe (percussion), and Dave Morgan (harpsichord).

This concert is free to attend; any donations at the door will benefit the venue.
