The Eurasia Consort presents a special performance dedicated to unity in the face of divisiveness and fear. The ensemble performs music of Japan, China, Turkey, and Western Europe, imagining the sounds that could have been heard along the ancient trade route. Performers include August Denhard, lute; Tomoko Sugawara, kugo harp; Munir Nurettin Beken, ud; Antonio Gomez, percussion; Jo Baim, recorder and organ; and Miyo Aoki, recorder. Works by Dimitri Cantemir, Giray Han, a premiere by Yao Heng-lu, and more. Free-will offering accepted.
