Wednesday, February 8, 2017 @ 7:30pm – 8:30pm (PST)

Ludovic Morlot, conductor

During the last week, the arts community across the country has been coming together in meaningful ways following the recent executive order restricting travel and immigration from certain Middle Eastern countries. At the Seattle Symphony, we are inspired to add our voice, with the hope that we can bring together our community to celebrate the freedom of expression and open exchange of ideas which the arts have always stood for, especially in times of division and conflict.

The musicians of the Seattle Symphony will perform a free concert for our community, featuring music drawn from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen. Program details will be announced closer to the event. We invite our community to join us so that together we may experience the rich and diverse musical heritage of these countries, and the diverse communities who call our region home.

GENERAL ADMISSION SEATING. Please disregard seat locations printed on your tickets.

PLEASE BE SEATED BY 7:15PM. Non-ticketed patrons will be admitted starting 15 minutes before concert.

Limit four tickets per person. All tickets Print-At-Home (or digital via the Seattle Symphony App.)
