Bach, Brahms, and Ravel are not only known for their incredible music but also for expanding the technical limits of the instruments they wrote for. These three works display the creative virtuosity that made each composer a powerful force during their time. This program includes Bach’s monumental Chaconne for solo violin and Brahms’ thrilling gypsy-inspired Piano Quartet in G minor.
