Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Don Giovanni

World famous, local opera singers! PSCO takes pride in presenting high quality, affordable productions of the world's greatest operas. With our innovative concert opera format, PSCO's performances allow audience members to see, hear, and feel the music up close in intimate venues.

Leaving behind a trail of jilted women, angry men, and even a dead body, Don Giovanni is a young, arrogant, and sexually promiscuous nobleman. Doggedly pursued by a vengeful group of people he has wronged, he manages to escape punishment through charm, deceit, or even brute force. But in the end, even Don Giovanni must answer for his crimes.

Mozart’s most beautiful score, Don Giovanni is an incredible blend of sharp humor, violence, pathos, and drama. See the immortal rake punished – up close and personal!

Performed concert-style with string quartet and piano. Sung in Italian with Italian and English supertitles.

Featured performers are Misha Myznikov, Jesse Nordstrom, Michael Dunlap, Michael Drumheller, David Madden, Merideth Marano, Christina Kowalski, and Dora Barnes.

Artistic director: Regina Thomas. Conductor and musical direction by John Burkhardt. Christopher Lin and Candice Chin on violin, Jennifer Glenn-Shoval on viola, Janice Lee on cello, and Renwick Hester on piano.

Tickets: $30 ($20 student with ID at door). Cash and check only at door.
