In the opening concert of the season, Seattle Collaborative Orchestra showcases 2 lesser-known works by women, including Julia Perry's Study for Orchestra, a fascinating work composed in 1952. Also on the program is a horn concerto by Saint-Saëns (with soloist Addison Kotulski, a senior at Cornish College of the Arts) and Felix Mendelssohn's stunning "Reformation" symphony.
