Glorious music of the French Baroque, including works by Couperin, Jacquet de la Guerre, Lully, Marais, and Rebel (“Le Tombeau de Lully”), featuring two of North America’s greatest baroque violinists with opulent continuo accompaniment.

Join us for a celebration of the small but mighty bowed string instruments of the High Baroque: treble viola da gamba and five and six-string pardessus de viole.

Baroque violinist Aubrey Burdick, baroque oboist Curtis Foster and harpsichordist Henry Lebedinsky play works by Lully, Marais, Leclair and more in celebration of the City of Light.

Seattle Baroque Orchestra is joined by Eric Milnes and Canadian soprano soloist Hélène Brunet for a holiday celebration that includes Handel’s famous Gloria, Corelli’s Christmas Concerto, Noels by Michel Corrette, Marin Marais’ Chaconne and cantatas and arias by Scarlatti, Bach, Salazar and Zipoli.
