Ania Stachurska – Past Concerts

Newly composed works alongside a diverse mix of contemporary and experimental music. Featuring works by Charles Corey, Jacob Sundstrom, Ania Stachurska, Clint McCallum, Sergej Newski, Beat Furrer, and John Cage.

Works include Anthèmes 2 by Pierre Boulez and Frises by Kaija Saariaho, as well as newly commissioned works by Doug Niemela, Jacob Sundstrom, Ania Stachurska, and Jeff Bowen.

An evening of acoustic and electronic works featuring world premieres by Archibald-Seiffer and Stachurska that explore diverse themes such as political civil war, children’s literature, the structure of language, and the uncanny.

Expanding the contemporary classical saxophone repertoire, Kevin Baldwin will premiere new works by local Seattle composers, as well as lesser-performed pieces from famed composers Luciano Berio, Gerard Grisey and Giacinto Scelsi.
