The program will feature a constantly-shifting sonic palette, including orchestra alone, orchestra and chorus, Signatures with the symphony, and all three together. The audience will be invited to get into the act on several occasions to sing carols and holiday favorites along with the entire company!

Handbell soloist Nancy Kirkner and pianist Janet Anderson perform beloved carols, along with lesser known works by Percy Grainger, Ralph Vaughan Williams and John Ireland. Concert and museum admission are free.

The Chamber Singers, University Chorale, University Singers, Women’s Choir, Gospel Choir, and UW Men’s Glee Club perform seasonal music from around the world.

Join the Byrd Ensemble and brass for a Baroque Christmas program featuring carol arrangements by German masters J.S. Bach and Praetorius, and readings by actor Nurmi Husa.
