Tribute to Italian composer/singer Barbara Strozzi that explores lighter side of her repertoire, as well as her famous lament Lagrime mie, complimented by plucked & bowed string instruments from Iran, Turkey, & Italy.

Italian Baroque works are on display in this concert film featuring motets from Chiara Margarita Cozzolani's Scherzi di sacra melodia, as well as Maria Francesca Nascinbeni's chamber trio, Non tema nò di morte.
