Pianist Cristina Valdes, cellist David Requiro and violinist Michael Jinsoo Lim explore piano trios by Beethoven, Brahms, Ives and Garcia.

This evening of ancient and modern choral works by Bach, Britten, St. Hildegard of Bingen, Pärt, Stravinsky and others – as well as three commissioned world premieres – will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Image, a literary quarterly that celebrates the best contemporary writing and art that engage with faith.

University of Washington students Yoojeong Cho and Mason Cole perform a junior recital in voice. Free and open to the public.

The Puget Sound Concert Opera will be joined by the Seattle Philharmonic conducted by Adam Stern.

Led by violin maestro Ganesh Rajagopalan, this group brings together elements of Indian classical music and American jazz. Funds raised will support sustainable development projects in India.

Come enjoy a beautiful evening of sunshine and great chamber music performed by Seattle Symphony musicians, young talents, and accomplished pianists at Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island. The program will include pieces by Glazunov, Glinka-Balakirev, Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky.

A special show at the Neptune Theatre curated by Zaki•Rose to artistically express the ups and downs of cancer and its impact on all people. This one-night-only event integrates music, science, dance and community to introduce Project Violet and the contributions that Fred Hutch, Dr. Olson and his team have made in modern-day cancer research.

John Teske and Neil Welch present music among the trees in Seattle, joined by local musicians. The ensemble will perform a number of short works, with room for improvisation to respond to the natural environment, ending as the sun sets.

The UW Wind Ensemble, Symphonic, and Campus Bands perform “The Frozen Cathedral,” by John Mackey, and Concerto for Saxophone Quartet and Wind Ensemble, by David Maslanka.

Violinist Elisa Barston (second violin principal of Seattle Symphony) will be joined by pianist Jessica Choe in the three Violin Sonatas by Johannes Brahms.
