Blessed Sacrament Choir – Past Concerts

Blessed Sacrament’s Chancel Choir, Orchestra, and Sackbut Ensemble present Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Missa brevis in D minor, K. 65/61a, with motets by Mozart and Michael Haydn.

Choral mass celebrating the Feast of the Presentation. Featuring Caldara’s Missa Brevis in G; seasonal carols and motets; 18th century Scottish piping music; and more.

Director Matthew Loucks will conduct this holiday classic as it was first heard at its premiere in Dublin in 1742, with the original recitatives, arias, and choruses enhanced by the glorious acoustics of the Blessed Sacrament Sanctuary.
